US Senators support Israel’s aggression

Published by munaeem at 3:20 pm under Middle East Edit This

US senators from both sides they support Israel group operation against Hamas. They say that Israel is justified in taking against Hamas.

Their partisan stance has shocked me. I know Hamas has provided Israel the pretext to attack. But Israel is targeting civilians. The stance and behavior adopted by American administration and lawmakers would increase the in the Middle East. Israeli atrocities are generating anger in the Muslim world. Americans will bear the brunt the follies of their leaders.

Sens. Harry Reid and Dick Durbin - the top two Democrats in the chamber - and Republican leader Sen. Mitch McConnell all say Israel’s actions are understandable.

It’s no surprise to me. There is only one way that US officials are allowed to discuss Israel and that is that whatever they want to do is just fine and dandy. Any deviation from the script sent out by Israel’s far right lobby will immediately get a person labeled as a Jew-hater on the level of Hitler or Mel Gibson and they’ll have to publicly apologize and take a class about how the holocaust and go into rehab if they ever expect to work in Washington again. There’s no other single issue in the world that is locked down from any serious debate like Israel. Such a democratic way to discuss the “only democracy in the middle east!”
